Executive Summary
The NLS Summer Camp 2025 was a week-long residential program held from 20th to 27th July 2025 at Ntare LouiseLund School (NLS) in Nyamata, Bugesera District. The camp brought together 58 campers, including a delegation from Cameroon, Uganda, Malawi, and Belgium, with 26 females and 33 males aged between 12 and 18 years. The camp aimed to empower Rwandan youth by nurturing leadership skills, fostering innovation, promoting cultural values, and enhancing physical and mental wellness through sports and interactive learning. Over the course of eight days, participants engaged in a dynamic blend of academic sessions, sports training, innovation workshops, cultural activities, and community engagement. The 2025 edition I successfully advanced the camp’s mission of building a generation of ethical, visionary, and skilled young leaders who can contribute meaningfully to national development and regional competitiveness. It has also leveraging the experience of camper and their parents on NLS and its program.
